Do I need to get in the sea?
No! Please be advised that dipping in the sea is completely at your own discretion. Dipping in the sea can enhance your experience of the sauna but only if you deem neccesary. Please do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Do I stay in the sauna for my whole session?
No. We recommend doing a maximum of 15 minutes before taking a short 2-5 minute break outside of the sauna cooling off, before heading back in once you're ready.

How long is a session?
Each session is 45 minutes long.

Where are we based?
You can find us at Leasowe Bay on the Wirral, next to the end of the Gunsite Car Park CH46 2RH. Just put 'detox wirral' into Google Maps.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes. We are based at the end of the Gun Site Car Park which has plenty of car parking spaces. Please visit our Location & Parking page for more information.

What should I wear?
We recommend wearing swimwear without metal fastenings and please avoid wearing any metal jewellery that may heat up during the session. You can also opt to wear wetsuit boots / gloves if you are choosing to go in the sea.

When are we open?
Our saunas and paddleboard hire is open every weekend around the high tide. Please check the booking system for our opening hours.

Is there an age restriction?
Please note that under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Will I be sharing with other people?
Maybe. Inside the sauna there will be benches that can sit up to 10 people (depending on the number of people booked into your session).
